Assisting Children's Education (ACE) Endowment Fund

In 2009, the ACE Fund of the Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation awarded more than $13,000 in grants to TCAPS Teachers for special programs within the classroom. Since 1995, the ACE Fund has awarded more than a quarter of a million dollars to benefit TCAPS classrooms. These grants have impacted thousands of local students by providing opportunities and activities that are not funded through the district's operating budget.

The ACE Fund supports a variety of programs to help students and teachers develop and implement innovative ideas that are student focused, curriculum based and promote academic excellence.

Members of the Community can become involved by contributing to the ACE Innovation Awards.

The ACE Innovation Awards giving circle provides an opportunity to ensure grant dollars are available to enrich the education of today’s students, while also ensuring funds will be available for the benefit of students forever.

A donor’s contribution of $250 or more will ensure their membership in the Circle. As part of the ACE Innovation Awards, donors have the opportunity to participate in the grantmaking activities (if interested, not required) and will be invited to attend an awards reception.
