Scholarship Elk Rapids Industrial Development Corporation Endowment

This scholarship provides annual assistance for students from the Elk Rapids area who are pursuing advanced learning in a technical or vocational field. This continues the technology focus of the former Elk Rapids Industrial Development Corporation.

Requirements:

• Graduating seniors at Elk Rapids High School (recent graduates, including current recipients of this scholarship, may also apply)
• Planning to enter a vocational program in a college, trade school, or apprentice training
• Must hold a minimum grade point average of 2.5
• Two written letters of recommendation must be submitted

The scholarship may be used over a two-year period if the funding is not fully utilized in one year, and if the recipient continues to meet the requirements of the selected program.
