Hallie lived with a fun-loving, courageous luminescence that brought goodwill to her life, family, friends, and the good of others. She died in 2016, after a four-year fight with ovarian cancer, during which she was a constant torchbearer for the fight against ovarian cancer.
Now, Hallie's Hearts Endowment will help to continue her effort in carrying that torch.

Billie Jo Clark was an accomplished attorney, mediator, runner and mother from the Traverse City area. Billie, a Michigan native, received degrees from Ferris State College and Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She practiced law in Northern Michigan for 22 years, primarily in family law. She was also known for her sucess as a mediator. She served as a volunteer for the Third Level Crisis Intervention Center Legal Aid Clinic, the Women's Resource Center Clinic, the Women Lawyers Association, Traverse City Track Club, Traverse Bay Sunrise Rotary, Alzheimer's Association, and Traverse Area Public SChools District Advisory Council. Most importantly, Billie was a loving mother to her two children, Grace and Sam Clark- both West High School students. She loved to inspire young people to reach for their highest aspirations and encouraged commitment to community and public service.
