University Center Scholarship Application

Scholarship Requirements:

• Officially admitted to a bachelor's degree program at the NMC University Center and be enrolled for a minimum of six credit hours within your field of study.
• Must be a resident of Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska or Leelanu county.
• Must have a University Center grade point of 3.0 or higher.
• Must demonstrate financial need.
• Pursuing a degree in a human services field, including nursing, social work, family life, etc.
• Returning and/or working students are encouraged to apply.
• One letter of recommendation is required; this should be emailed to glimbocker@gtrcf.org prior to the June 1 deadline.

To apply, read this page and then complete an online application (link below).  The deadline to apply is June 1,2018.  No late applications will be accepted.  

Instructions:

• You will be prompted to login or register before you can access the online application. Please fill out only the required information (in bold).
• Only complete applications will be considered.  At the bottom of the online application, you will be offered the option to save your work and return to finish it later.  It is the applicant’s responsibility to return to the saved application, complete and submit it.
• Be sure to save your work often. Your information could be lost if you are logged in for a long period of time without saving.
• Once you’ve submitted your online application, you will get an email confirming your application was received.  If you do not receive the confirmation email, it is likely your application was not submitted properly.
