The Community Foundation’s Anchor and Heart Endowment has awarded a $110,325 grant to Munson Healthcare Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital, supporting the Paul Oliver Living and Rehabilitation Center (POLAR). 

The Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation celebrates our 2024 Youth Advisory Council graduating seniors from across the region.

The Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation recently awarded $385,075 in scholarships to 205 high school seniors, college students, and trade school students across the five-county region.

The Community Foundation has been selected to serve as Press Forward Northern Michigan—the local Northern Michigan chapter of Press Forward, a national movement to strengthen our democracy by revitalizing local news and information.

The Community Foundation has awarded a total of $615,000 to organizations across the region through the Wilfred and Joan Larson Endowment, including $110,000 to local schools to support student scholarships.

The Community Foundation and the Land Conservancy are partnering with Grand Traverse County to support and further protect the former Camp Greilick property.

The Community Foundation has awarded a total of $600,710 to 88 organizations across Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, and Leelanau Counties.

The Community Foundation has invested $1 million from its endowment portfolio in IFF’s Michigan Housing Fund, which will support attainable housing projects in our region.

This year’s Kalkaska Citizen of the Year is Derek Hogerheide, Fire Chief of the Kalkaska Township Fire Department, and the Kalkaska Business of the Year is Twin Birch Golf Club, owned by Kwin Morris.

The Community Foundation wrapped up 2023 with $3.5 million grants and scholarships awarded and $1.26 million in gifts from community members across the region.
