Biography
Gina is the third generation of her family to live in Northern Michigan. She is a graduate of the University of Oregon where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Art History. In 2008, when she returned to Traverse City to be closer to her family, Gina began her journey in philanthropy as a Program Officer for a local family foundation. In 2012, she joined the Community Foundation team.
Gina is currently a Prevention Council Member of the Traverse City Children's Advocacy Center, a member of the BEST Benzie County Leadership team, a volunteer at Let These Animals Live, and an expert reviewer on Yield Giving Open Call's Evaluation Panel. Gina lives in the Traverse Heights neighborhood with her husband, Ryan, their dogs, Rosie and Louie, and their cat, Mike.
