We are committed to creating a region, alongside community members like you, where every person feels connected, supported, and empowered and where our communities have resources and opportunities for everyone.
The recent ICE operations and resulting violence, forced family separations, chaos, and fear impacting our Midwest neighbors in Minnesota, along with many other communities across the U.S., is heavily felt in our organization and across our community.
We see many of you feeling a mix of emotions, from anger to rage and everything in-between. We feel this, too.
We stand with the efforts of Minnesotans who are supporting each other and their immigrant neighbors, and appreciate all the ways the nonprofit community is showing up during this difficult time.
To support our fellow neighbors in Minnesota, we recommend this collection of resources from the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits: https://minnesotanonprofits.org/ice-resources.
Only together can we make a difference. Supporting each other is what creates and sustains our communities.
