Jim Ooley Scholarship

When Jim Ooley retired in 1993 after 39 years of teaching and coaching, it was his desire to establish a scholarship fund to recognize an outstanding senior student athlete whose dedication and leadership exemplifies the ideals for which Jim Ooley stood. One student from Central High School, West Senior High, and Traverse City St. Francis are selected to receive a $1,000 scholarship annually. 

SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicant must be a graduating senior from Traverse City Central High School, West Senior High and Traverse City St. Francis.
• Applicant must have demonstrated success as a student-athlete.
• Please note: If you are a student at Traverse City Central High School or West Senior High please complete the Scholarship application for TCAPS to be considered for this scholarship. Traverse City St. Francis students should apply using the link below.
