NWS Judith Lang Journalism Scholarship Endowment

The purpose of the Judith Lang Journalism Scholarship Endowment is to support a scholarship award for an area student that demonstrates excellence in nonfiction writing. Winners are planned to be determined annually in cooperation with the Community Foundation/Traverse City National Writers Series competitive application process.

The National Writers Series Scholarship competition is held annually for high school students in our five-county region and includes:

• Robert and Marcy Branski Poetry Scholarship
• Judith Lang Journalism Scholarship
• Leslie Lee Nonfiction Scholarship
• William Montgomery Fiction Scholarship
