John S.E. Dieckman Husky Scholarship Endowment

The John S.E. Dieckman Husky Scholarship Endowment, established by the Benzie County Central Schools Educational Foundation, is available to graduating seniors from Benzie County Central Schools who are planning to pursue post-secondary education.

Emphasis will be placed on character, citizenship, and service to the school and community; these will be evaluated based on involvement in school and extracurricular activities, as well as an applicant's personal statement. Financial need is a consideration as the intent is to award scholarships to students so that the award has a meaningful bearing on the student's desire to further their education. GPA is not a determining factor.
