Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) Fund Application

Background and Vision

The DEI Fund is dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, and Leelanau Counties. We believe diversity encompasses, but is not limited to, race, ethnicity, economic circumstances, zip code, age, health and ability status, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, resident or immigration status, national origin, veteran status, or religion. We know that to achieve inclusive, healthy, resilient, thriving communities, all people in our region must have equitable access to the resources they need to reach their full potential. Read more about our commitment to DEI.

About the DEI Fund

The DEI Fund supports diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across the region, including primarily providing support for organizations led by Black, Indigenous, people of color, LGBTQ+, immigrant, neurodiverse, and/or disability community members. We will also consider DEI training and learning and other partners, programs, and opportunities promoting equity and inclusion.
