2026 Kalkaska Citizen & Business of the Year Nominations
Kalkaska County community members are invited to cast nominations for the 2026 Citizen of the Year and Business of the Year! These awards are a decades-long tradition in Kalkaska County and honor a resident for their civic involvement and a local business for their outstanding service to the community.
Nominations are accepted through February 20. Past winners are not eligible for award nominations. View the full list of past winners.
The Kalkaska Citizen and Business of the Year will be honored at the 56th Annual Kalkaska Luncheon on April 21 from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm at Railroad Square Pavilion in downtown Kalkaska, kicking off the National Trout Festival celebration. Event registration is $20 per person or $250 for table sponsorship and can be purchased online.
